Tilt-Up Construction Adhesive

GluDown® Construction Adhesive is available in a VOC-compliant formula that meets CARB standards for use in California. GluDown is the perfect choice for a wide range of general construction applications as well as the unique requirements of tilt-up construction. It offers a superior combination of performance, productivity and versatility that can help save time and reduce cost. There is now no need to use time consuming and problematic processes like drilling and nailing components.

GluDown® Construction Spray Adhesive (VOC/CARB Compliant)


Designed to meet the most vigorous and strict environmental standards. Our Construction Spray Adhesive is a high strength, fast drying, pressure sensitive adhesive used for bonding concrete, reveal, chamfers, plastics, metal, wood and other materials.

A web spray adhesive with dense coverage throughout the spray pattern, this product offers long term heat and water resistance. It is available in various packaging and nozzle configurations.

  • 14 net oz. aerosol can with inverted or 90 degree adjustable nozzles
  • 12 cans per case &108 cases per pallet

Our VOC Compliant Construction Adhesive is not currently available in canisters.

Store product at 60 to 80°F for maximum storage life. Higher and lower temperatures can effect adhesives performance.

Rotate stock using oldest product first.

Select best GluDown packaging type for easy application

Aerosol Can (Inverted/Adjustable nozzle)

Shake can of GluDown aerosol prior to use

With nozzle facing surface, spray at a distance of 8” – 10” constantly moving the applicator to prevent build up on substrate

For best bond strength apply adhesive to both surfaces

Use overlapping spray pattern on large surfaces

Before bonding surfaces insure that the adhesive is dry to the touch. Approximately 1 – 3 minutes

Temperature and humidity will effect open time

Bond substrates by applying heavy pressure to maximize bond

Pry material off surface using flat edged tool

Scrape surface with flat edge tool to remove large debris and excess adhesive

For best results apply citrus cleaner to remaining adhesive wait approximately 5 minutes and scrape surface, repeat if necessary

Pressure wash surface

PRODUCT. GluDown, Inc. shall not otherwise be liable for loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including, but not  limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
